Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Eugene leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Oburn and Ada Oburn (Snapp); and his brother Dennis Oburn. He is survived by: his significant other DeAnn Oburn (Benshoff); his children, Nathan Oburn (Esther) of Pleasant Hill, OH, Vanessa Gordon (Ryan) of Charlotte, NC, Geneva Price (Tony) of New Madison, OH and Ben Oburn (Megan) of Fairborn, OH; and his sister Alice Dole (Henry) of Modesto, CA. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Brethren Church (210 Church St, Pleasant Hill, OH 45359). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either organization in Gene's memory.
