He was predeceased by: his uncles, Carl Bockhorst and William Bockhorst (Jackie); and his grandfathers, Carl and Robert. He is survived by: his parents, Robert Bockhorst and Claire Bockhorst; his siblings, Maria Bockhorst, James Bockhorst (Rebecca) and Carolyn Bockhorst; his godparents, Chris, John Herrmann, Margie Burgin (Lester), Rob Weingartner, Pete Weingartner (Mary Ann) and Paul Weingartner (Heather); and his grandmothers, Helen Bockhorst and Ruth Weingartner. He is also survived by numerous cousins and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home (1668 State Rte 28, Goshen, OH 45122). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (5890 Buckwheat Rd, Milford, OH 45150).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in memory of Adam Bockhorst to St. Louis School, 250 N Broadway St., Owensville, OH 45160.
