He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Silvers and Mae Silvers; his siblings, Margaret Lautenslager, Betty McVicker and Bueford Silvers; and his son-in-law Larry Hampton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vicky Hampton, Billie Hollingsworth (Ron), Jackie Belew (Joe), Beverly Owens (Billy) and Lisa Corder (Rick); and his wife Imojene Moore-Silvers. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
