It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Paul Hood of Pomeroy, Ohio, who passed away on May 16, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Paul Hood to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Hood and Freda Hood; his brothers, Sam and Jim Hood; and his grandson Andrew Hood.
He is survived by: his wife Crystal Lynn Hood; his sons, Jeffrey Paul Hood (Marlo) of Lacey, WA, Stephen Todd Hood (Meagan) of Middleport, OH and Christopher Tyson Lee of Parkersburg, WV; his grandchildren, Brigg, Ava, Willow, Brandon Hood, Megan McKinney (Treay) and Rileigh Ward; his great grandchildren, Brinley, Kimber McKinley, Cooper and Cali Hood; and his nieces, Jolene and Leslie Hood.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home (590 E Main St, Pomeroy, OH 45769). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to American Legion Post 39, 41765 Pomeroy Pike, Pomeroy, Ohio 45769.
