We announce the death of Linda Thornton of Pomeroy, Ohio, who passed away on August 15, 2026, at the age of 66. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Pauley and Linda Pauley. She is survived by: her husband Melvin Thornton; her children, Brandon Mitchell (Chrissy) and Chris Kidd (Melissa); her grandchildren, Maddie, Zarianna, Daniel, Regina and Reagan; her nephew Randy Bragg; her sister Virginia Doerfer; and her close friend Darlene Sayre. She is also survived by several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
