She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond C. Ahrens and Ruth M Dixon Ahrens; her husband Francis Eugene Hermes; and her brother Raymond. She is survived by : her children, Kevin E. and Julie A. Fontana; and her grandchildren, Nikolaus G. of Port Clinton and Katherine E. of Port Clinton. She is also survived by nieces and a nephew.
