He is survived by: his daughter Kimmie Ballou (Steve); his grandchildren, Nicholas Myers, Stephenie Ballou (Jarrod), Ambrosia Evans (Willie) and Elijah Myers; his great grandchildren, Dameon Burton, Levi Wicker and Camden Mullins; and his brother Gerald Myers Sr..

He often fondly remembered his time working at Flower Hospital, even as Alzheimer's disease progressed in his later years.
