He is survived by: his wife Barbara Stankov; his children, Mary Jo Beason (Perry), Matthew Wenzinger (Julie), Kurt Wenzinger (Robin Wahlers) and Anne Wellik (John); his grandchildren, Cassandra Oakley (Brandon), Holly Wenzinger, Rachael Wenzinger, Aubrey Wenzinger, Ian Lyle, Bailey Beason, Christopher Beason, Dean Wellik and Joseph Wellik; his great grandchildren, Collin, Emma and Carter Oakley; his siblings, John Wenzinger (Laura), Reverend George Wenzinger and Thomas Wenzinger (Jeanne); and his cousins, Patrick Montgomery (Glenda), Brian Montgomery (Perry) and Laurie Zimmer (Ed).
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home (216 Washington St, Port Clinton, OH 43452). A burial was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (414 Madison St, Port Clinton, OH 43452).
