He was predeceased by: his parents, John Donohue and Mae Donohue; and his siblings, Carol, Doris, John, Thomas, Janet and Patricia.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Donohue; and his children, Brian (Heather), Julie, Michael Jr. (Sally) and Kimberly (Justin). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
