She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph F. Schibler; her parents, John McDermott and Catherine McDermott (Davis); her brother Robert McDermott; and her grandson Andrew Hammons.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia, Rev. Catherine Schibler-Keegan (Clayton Keegan), Barbara Chen (Jerry Chen), Jennifer Hammons and Nancy Schibler.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (207 Adams St, Port Clinton, OH 43452). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wittenberg University in Springfield, OH.
