With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peter M Schaf (Port Clinton, Ohio), born in McLean, Virginia, who passed away on May 26, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leva Schaf (Shearer) and Col. Frank Lewis Schaf; his father-in-law Edwin; and his sister-in-law Debra Bernard (Debbie). He is survived by: his wife Betsy (Betsy); his daughter Ellen Main (Jon) of Loveland, Ohio; his grandchildren, JP and Camden; his brothers, Nicholas (Pat) and Robert; his brothers-in-law, Tom Becker (Debbe), Brad Bernard and Peter Bernard; and his mother-in-law Helen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
