He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Stephen; his children, Chad Stephen (Rhonda) of Newcomerstown, David Stephen of Port Washington and Jodi Barron of Uhrichsville; his grandchildren, Kaylee Bardall (Tanner) of Freeport, Brandon Stephen of Newcomerstown and Morgan Meyer of Uhrichsville; his great grandchildren, Baylee Meyer, Rylee Meyer, Sawyer Meyer, Blake Bardall and Baby Bardall; his siblings, Jerry Stephen (Sandra) of Newcomerstown, Bruce Stephen (Debbie) of Gnadenhutten, Randy Stephen (Jeanne) of Port Washington, Paul Stephen of Gnadenhutten, Roger Stephen of Coshocton, Bev McComb (Steve) of Port Washington and Barbie Stephen of West Lafayette; and his siblings-in-law, Wes Rank of Gnadenhutten, Carl DePoy of Alton, WV and Colleen Kasten (Dan) of Buckhannon, WV. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; many great nieces and great nephews.
Mike appreciated the sacrifice and commitment of the volunteer fire department and enjoyed benefit breakfast and dinners there so in lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in his name to the Delaware Valley Joint Fire District 108 W. Main St. Port Washington, Ohio 43837.
