It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brian S. Massing of Port William, Ohio, born in Xenia, Ohio, who passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Gary L. Eavers; his adoptive father John A. Massing; his stepfather Thomas J. Sarmir; and his mother-in-law Mary Craig Schmid. He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Ann Massing; his son Kyle Massing; his stepchildren, Bre Detty (Berman) and Christopher Kreitzer (Piper Hoffman); his grandchild Nevaeh Wilson; his mother Patricia Sarmir; his brothers, Steve Massing and David Massing; his father-in-law Jack Schmid; his siblings-in-law, Steven Schmid (Mary) and Susan Schmid Wright (Graham); his nephews, Nathan Schmid (Lex) and Nicholas Schmid; his niece Emma Massing; and his friend Jim Ash.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Aging Up Community Center (717 N Nelson Ave, Wilmington, OH 45177).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Brian's memory may be made to a charity of choice.
