He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn L. "Joe" Adams and Dorothy M. Adams (Smith); his parents-in-law, R. "Chub" Bechstein and Ilo Chapman; his brother David Adams (Becky); his brother-in-law E. Larry Foster; and his grandson Michael Mark Adams.

He is survived by: his wife Connie Bechstein; his children, Tami Adams of North Chesterfield, VA, Matt Adams (Kelly Blickensderfer) of Bowling Green and Michael Adams (Nicole) of Columbus; his sister Linda Foster of Portage; and his grandchildren, Isaac Uhlenberg, Rochelle Rawls, Christian Rawls, Ace Buchanan-Morgan, Austin Adams (Kylee), Arika Adams, Noah Adams and Myah Adams.

Memorial donations may be made to the Smith Scholarship Fund at the Rudolph Christian Church, or to the Bowling Green Christian Food Pantry.
