We announce the death of Philip Ott of Portage, Ohio, who passed away on August 22, 2026, at the age of 87. Philip will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester "Bud" Ott and Helen Ott (Mehok); his brother Patrick Ott; and his grandson Samuel Ott. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ott (Drexler); his brother Ronald Ott; his sister-in-law Natalie Ott; and his nieces and nephews, David Ott (Kathy), Kathy Lofreso (Tony), Jackie Wagner (Larry), Christy Hornyak (Morgan), Keith Ott (Danielle), Mark Ott and Tony Ott (Miranda). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and countless nieces and nephews.
