He was predeceased by: his parents, William Alfred Davies and Alice Davies Peeler; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Schuerman and Kay Davies. He is survived by: his wife Betty Davies (Houser); his children, Brenda Heinze (Dave), Rick Buchman (Karen), Lori Davies and Shawn Davies (Chellie); his grandchildren, Jill, Jessica (Brent), Jena (Carlos), Blake (Tony), Kara, Ethan and Kendall; and his brother Jan Davies. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
