It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bruce Irving Bowen of Portsmouth, Ohio, who passed away on October 2, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Bowen and Mary York Bowen; and his siblings, Ruth Ann Lewis, Jane Pettigrew, Phyllis Traub, Sharon Moore, Diana Archangeli, Alan, Tom and Tim.

He is survived by : his wife Cindy Sanford Bowen; his children, Jason Bowen (Dena) and Debra Hamilton; his stepdaughters, Stephanie Clevenger (Chris) and Shannon Moatz (Steve); and his siblings, John, Rusty, Mike, Pete, Chuck, Melanie Parlin, Leah Miller and Julie Spradlin. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
