He was predeceased by: his father Earnest Messer; his sister Brenda O'Dell; and his stepparents, Richard Dulaney and Brenda Messer. He is survived by: his mother Margaret Dulaney (Fannin); his wife Andrea Messer (Smith); his sons, Monte Messer (Chasity), Jarod Billiter and Jeremy Messer (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Hayleigh Tackett (Brenten), Cody Messer (Baylee), Kylea Kammer (Austin), Alexa Meadows (Shelby), Malachi Billiter, Landon Messer and Braden Messer; his great grandchildren, Kasen, Apollo and Emory; and his siblings, Marlena Burns (Mike), Tammy Smith, Angel Dulaney (Scott), Scott Messer (Donna) and Shane Messer (Donya). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home (6710 Swauger Valley Rd, Minford, OH 45653). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
