He was predeceased by : his grandson Devin Young; and his stepfather James Sexton. He is survived by : his wife Carrie Young; his children, James Young Jr. (Devon Young) and Britney Young of West Portsmouth; his siblings, William Young (Karen) of Oak Hill, Jerry McGlone (Angie) of Portsmouth, Durward Chandler (Cathy) of McDermott and Mary Recchia (Angelo) of Michigan; and his grandchildren, Kelsi, Bailee, Dillon, Levi, Kiera and Laren.
The family request in lieu of flowers, donations to help with the funeral expenses be sent to the funeral home.
