She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Eugene and Anna Mae Bartee (Freeman); her son Daniel Edward Lewis; and her sister Leona Murdock. She is survived by: her husband Eugene Lewis; her children, Carol Lewis, Christina Ellis, Monica Lewis and Ernie Lewis; and her siblings, Mike Bartee, Jimmy Bartee, Brenda Lewis and Lois Bartee-Beverly. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
