He is survived by: his children, Robert H. Carter, John (Anita Carter), Scott Carter (Danielle), Kevin Carter (Stephanie), Teri Bowling and Sandy Rader (David); his grandsons, Justin Carter (Stormy), Joshua Carter and Jacob Carter; and his sister Delana Bolten. He is also survived by grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
