She was predeceased by: her father James Whitman; and her stepfather Lee Mays. She is survived by: her mother Janet Mays; her sons, Nicholas Frasure (Kayleigh) and Jordan Frasure (Alysa); her grandson Arlington Frasure; and her siblings, Rusty Whitman (Susan), Perry Whitman (Lea), Tonya Messer (Preston), Brenda Jones (Dave) and Sharon Brickey (Daryl). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
