We are sad to announce that on July 7, 2025, at the age of 79, Ted Birkhimer of Portsmouth, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Ted's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Ted's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Birkhimer and Maxine Cropper Birkhimer; his wife Cynthia Peake Birkhimer; and his sister Penny Susan Birkhimer Coulthart. He is survived by: his children, Kelly Birkhimer Carter (Ryan) of Rosemount, OH and Adam Birkhimer (Erin) of Wheelersburg, OH; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Carter (Ben), Austin Carter (Rosa), Logan Carter (Koriah) and Jake Carter; and his great grandchildren, Lily Carter and Greyson Carter.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home (311 James E Hannah Dr, South Shore, KY 41175). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
