We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2025, at the age of 88, William Earl McBrayer of Portsmouth, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint William leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl McBrayer and Lottie McBrayer (Smith); and his brothers, Willard McBrayer and James Robert McBrayer. He is survived by: his wife Dollie McBrayer (Thayer); his son Dr. William Earl McBrayer, Jr. (Cindy); his sisters, Ruth McBrayer and Elnora Blanton; his granddaughter Grace Elizabeth McBrayer; and his close friend Chester Risner.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home (11623 Gallia Pike, Wheelersburg, OH 45694). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
