It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wanda Smiley of Potsdam, Ohio, born in Worthington, Kentucky, who passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Cecil Stephenson and Margaret Stephenson (Hicks); and her husband George H. Smiley. She is survived by : her sons, Stephen Harding (Angie Smiley) of Potsdam and Daniel Wayne (Lisa Smiley) of Potsdam; her grandchildren, Tyanna, Samantha, Danielle, Kain, Cameron and Cole; her grandchildren-in-law, Lorena Spainhower of Kentucky, Cecil "Sonny", Jennifer Stephenson of Texas, Bonnie, Jim Keeton of Kentucky, Betty, Bob Smith of Kentucky, Glenn, Nancy Stephenson of Kentucky, David and Marilyn Stephenson of Kentucky; and her grandchildren, Raymond and Missy Stephenson of Kentucky. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and one on the way; her siblings.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hale-Sarver Funeral Home (284 N Miami St, West Milton, OH 45383). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Potsdam Church of the Brethren (22 Cross St, Potsdam, OH 45361).
