She was predeceased by: her husband Gene Hughes; and her parents, LaMar Zwingler and Mary Zwingler. She is survived by: her daughter April Williams (Jake); her grandchildren, Isaac, Saint, Kailey, Alex and Kiyanna; her stepsons, Dan Hughes (Ruthie) and Dave Hughes (Anita); and her brothers, Wade Zwingler (Janice) of North Ridgeville and Roger Zwingler (Heather) of Apex.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Linworth United Methodist Church (7070 Bent Tree Blvd, Columbus, OH 43235). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society and Linworth United Methodist Church, Missions Endowment Fund.
