She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Bowers and Ralph Bowers; and her siblings, Alverta Sembower (Harry), Wilbur Bowers and John Bowers.
She is survived by: her husband James K. Bankoske; her children, Elizabeth Messer (Kurt) and James D. Bankoske; her siblings-in-law, Janet Bowers, Donna Bankoske, Jerry Bankoske (Norma) and William Bankoske (Catherine); her grandchildren, Holli Walker (Jason), Mitchell Messer, Thomas and John Bankoske; her great grandchildren, Abbigail, Reese and Emmett Walker; and her sibling's children, Wanda Kuehn (Terry) and Brian Sembower (Heidi).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the All Shepherds Lutheran Church (6580 Columbus Pike, Lewis Center, OH 43035). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the All Shepherd's Lutheran Church (6580 Columbus Pike, Lewis Center, OH 43035).
The family suggests donations be made to All Shepherd's Lutheran Church in LaVonne's memory or blood donations to the American Red Cross.
