He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert O'Neil and Marjorie O'Neil; and his siblings, Michael, Molly and Kathleen.
He is survived by: his wife Christine L. Bush; his children, Jennifer (Jeffrey), Robert (Roberta) and Kelley; his grandchildren, Cassidy, Colby, Avery, Amelia, Chloe and Abigail; and his siblings, Dan (Margie), Christine, Peggy, Sean, Tim (Esta), Gerry (Lisa) and Teresa (Luke). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
