We announce the death of Patrick W. McGonigle of Powell, Ohio, who passed away on August 15, 2026, at the age of 88. Patrick will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Jean McGonigle; his sons, Stephen W. and Craig M. McGonigle; his parents, Elwood P. McGonigle and Louise E. McGonigle; and his siblings, Jeannine Trump, Mary Reinhard, Corlyn Neff and Elwood "Woody" McGonigle.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Gabriel (Paul) of Powell, Ohio, Michael P. McGonigle of Grove City, Ohio, Donna Harris (Russell) of Atlanta, Georgia, Kimberly Straub (Tom) of Knoxville, Tennessee, Kevin McGonigle (Debbie) of Norcross, Georgia and Trish Neal (Kevin) of Cumming, Georgia; and his sisters, Ann Van Hoose of Plain City and Martha Salyer of Columbus, Ohio.. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
