He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ryan Sweeney; his sons, Robert, Jr. (Meredith) of Westerville and Douglas (Suzanne) of Sunbury, Ohio.; his grandchildren, Madison, Olivia, Erin and Justin; his brother Fred (Carolyn); his siblings-in-law, David, Diane Ryan, Steven and Judith Thornley; and his nieces and nephews, Megan Bell (Eric), Jeffrey Ryan, Julie Ryan and Mark Thornley (Stephanie).
