She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearley R. Thompson and Clytie H. Lowden Thompson; her husband Tony Kernik; her grandson Anthony "Tony" Kernik; and her siblings, Harry Thompson, Guy Thompson, Amy Feighner, Ted Thompson, Jack Thompson, Stephen Thompson and Roger Thompson.
She is survived by: her sons, Ted Kernik of Powhatan Point and Tod Kernik of Powhatan Point; her grandson Alexander Kernik; her sister Sharon Liskai (Daniel) of Woodville, Ohio; and her sister-in-law Peryl Thompson of Melbourne, Florida. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
