He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Hess and Etta Mae Hess (Baker). He is survived by: his sister Cindy Disalvio of Powhatan Point, OH; his nieces, Janelle McLeod and Stephanie Works (Gerard "Jerry" Olinski); and his aunt Peggy Eimer (Ken) of Martins Ferry. He is also survived by two great nieces and two great nephews.
