He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricia Gilbert and George Adams; and his brother George Michael Adams. He is survived by: his wife Angela Adams; his children, Bruce David Adams II, Beth Bradley and Kala Wolhoy (James); his grandchildren, Amiranda, Brooklyn, Will, Eliana, Declan and Lexi; and his brother Bill Adams.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations would be made to the Emogene Dolin Hospice House in Huntington, West Virginia.
