It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clara Stratton Hamlin (Proctorville, Ohio), who passed away on June 14, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Lakie Mae Ballengee and Bert Ballengee; her siblings, Don, Dale, Andy Ballengee and Helen Loftis (Lloyd Hamlin); and her sons, Bert of West Virginia and Dennis Hamlin (Phyllis Doyle) of West Virginia.
She is survived by : her granddaughter LaCandace; her sisters, Joanne Drown of West Virginia and Audra Miller of Ohio; her children, Bruce Hamlin (Jody) of North Carolina and Kay Shepard of West Virginia; her grandchildren, Britt Hamlin (Shayln) of West Virgina, Joshua Hamlin of Louisville and Ryan Hamlin of North Carolina; her great grandchildren, Colten and Ryder Hamlin; and her niece Clarissa Williamson (Bobby) of West Virginia. She is also survived by nephews, cousins, and many bonus children.
