He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Ramey and Margarite Ramey; his grandson Nathan Johnson; his children-in-law, Rodney Johnson and Kim Ramey; and his brother-in-law Allan Hutchison.
He is survived by: his wife Myra A. Ramey (Toni); his children, Penny Johnson of Hurricane, Steve Ramey (Suzy) of Huntington and Rusty Ramey of Lucasville, Ohio; his stepsons, Brian Lucas (Dawn) of Dayton and Brent Lucas (Diana) of Kenova; and his grandchildren, Ryan Ramey, Jacob Ramey, Josie Ramey, Jordyn Lucas, Levi Lucas and Ethan Lucas.
