We are sad to announce that on October 23, 2023, at the age of 83, Janice Thomas of Proctorville, Ohio, born in Harts, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond Workman and Rose Workman; her husband Walter Thomas; her grandsons, Andrew Thomas and Michael Locascio; her siblings, Timothy Raymond Workman and Merlene Layfield; and her daughter-in-law Helen Thomas.
She is survived by : her children, Walter Thomas Jr. of Crown City, Lial Thomas of Proctorville, Ohio and Veronica Rose Locascio; her grandchildren, Summer Rose Locascio, Tabitha Danielle Locascio, Lindsey Brooke Thomas, Justin Kory Thomas, Meagan Renee Whitt (Zac) and Hannah White (Ervin); her great grandchildren, Zane, Kennedy, Dawson and Tyler; and her sisters, Nellie Joyce Booth (Waldo) of Prichard, WV, Barbara Gay Ferrell (Ray) of Harts, WV and Ramona Lois Mitchell (Bill). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
