He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Matthew and Annie Poole Crowder; his wife Laura Jean Jackson Crowder; and his siblings, Clinton, Mary Fraizer, Leila Smithers, Mildred King, Zola Shorters, Luella Dean and Aileen Sisk.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherri A. Perry (Layne) and Angelia J. Crowder of Texas; his grandchildren, Rebekah Moore, Donnie Perry (Jaina), Gershom Perry (Brittany) and Rain Cornwell (Nick); his great grandchildren, Victoria Moore, Keira Perry, Emory Cornwell, John Mark Cornwell and Jasper Perry; his sisters-in-law, Sammye Lucas, June Weatherman (Roger) and Marjorie Lawson (Harlan); and his family Martin.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Reese Funeral Home (2214 Austinville Rd, Austinville, VA 24312). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at the Jackson Cemetery.
