We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Richard D. Augenstein of Prospect, Ohio, born in Delaware, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by : his mother Mary Louise Augenstein (Klingel); his grandfather Benjamin Franklin; his father Ralph Augenstein; his sister Jeannette Cook (Groll); and his brother-in-law Richard Groll.
He is survived by : his wife Nancy Augenstein (Cluff) of LaRue; his children, R. Douglas Augenstein, Christina L. Lust (Tom) and Michael A. Augenstein (Julie); his grandsons, Mitch Augenstein (Sierra), Clayton Lust and Isaac Lust; his great grandchild Gracie Augenstein; his daughter-in-law Brandi Augenstein; his sister Marilyn Andrews (Jack); and his brother-in-law Dr. Doyle Cook. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to: Marion Technical College Foundation for the Richard D. Augenstein Scholarship Fund, which will benefit students choosing education in the healthcare field. Donations may also be made to the River Valley FFA or Ridgedale FFA Chapters.
