He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette Martin and Wanda Martin (Bellar); and his siblings, James, Larry Martin, Shirley Routson and Karen Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Martin (Benner); his children, William "Bill" Martin (Carol) of Troy, Shannon Martin of Troy and Emily Chenier (Jerry) of Brookville; his sisters, Sharon Capps of Miamisburg, Donna Fox (Jim) of Huber Heights and Jeanne Martin of Greensville, SC.; his grandchildren, William "Bill" (Jamie) of Rebeka, TJ, Robert, Elizabeth (Tyler), Katie, Trinity and Bryce (Maraiah); and his sisters-in-law, Sherri Nelson (Bill) of Strongsville and Brenda Benner of Medina. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and good friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Guernsey County Dog Shelter.
