He is survived by: his siblings, Debbie, Rachel Smith, Darlene Shaw, Kenny, David and Bobby Smith (Missy); his parents-in-law, Bill and Carol Sidders; his sisters-in-law, Lori Krouskop (John), Libby Thompson (Jason) and Katie Sidders (Rob Plozay); and his grandchild Finneas Pistole. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Memorials to honor Carl may be made to Pasco Methodist Church.
