He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Melvin Shuler and Mary Louise Simpson Shuler; his wife Ruthie Shuler; his sons, Brian Joseph Thorla and Christopher Corey Hendricks; his daughter-in-law Shelly Renee Thorla; his mother-in-law Mary Virginia Hendricks; his daughter Ginnee Renee Lee (Adam Lee); his grandchildren, Braxton Joseph Thorla, Tanner Mathew, Bailee Nicole Thorla, Weston Connoly Thorla, Everett Gregory Lee and Gracie Marie Lee; his great grandchildren, Holden Joseph Thorla and Nelli Renee Thorla; his son Brandon Shuler (Karen); and his grandchildren, Paige Shuler and Colton Shuler.
He is survived by: his grandson Brian; his siblings, Margie Pierce, Stephen (Wanda Shuler), David (Carla Shuler) and Doug (Theresa Powell); and his in-laws, Bill, Sandra Thorla, Bob and Penny Thorla.
His was able to bless others with life and needs through his organ donation.
