He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Nitz and Frances Nitz. He is survived by: his wife Karen S. Nitz; his sons, Michael Nitz and David Flathers; and his grandchildren, Addison Flathers and Jaxon Flathers. He is also survived by three sisters; and numerous other nieces, nephews and friends.
