James Jenkins Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Jenkins of Rarden, Ohio, who passed away on December 16, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Jenkins and Lynn Moore Purtee; his stepfather Ted Purtee; his siblings, Theodore Purtee and Sheryl Moore; his uncle Ron Holley; and his friend Jimmy.

He is survived by: his brothers, Joe Jenkins of Pike County and Stanley Purtee of Rarden; his nieces and nephews, Mark Moore of Otway, Justin Eugene Adams of McDermott, Kimberly Rene Adams of Lucasville and Rachel Nicole Purtee of North Carolina; his cousin Vicky Holley of Portsmouth; and his brother-in-law Tony Moore of McDermott.

The family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
