It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Hoopes of Ravenna, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on December 24, 2023, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Robert; and her sister Gertrude. She is survived by : her children, Kathie Lentz, Don and David (Jeanne); her grandchildren, Laura, Amy (Matt), Jayson, Patrick (Mary), Andrea (Amber) and Valerie; and her great grandchildren, Alden, Haley, Ingrid, Margot and Maxine.

Memorials may be made in her honor to the Kent Free Library Foundation, 312 W. Main St. Kent, OH 44240.
