With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bonnie Evelyn Shewell (Ravenna, Ohio), who passed away on December 10, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Bonnie find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, James, Carrie, Virginia and Rosalie; her grandson Jake Shewell; and her daughter-in-law Judy Shewell.
She is survived by: her children, James Shewell, Carol Brown, Eric Shewell (Peggy), Wayne Shewell (Kathy) and Laura Ochoa (Greg). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home (703 E Main St, Ravenna, OH 44266). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
