Carl leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Carl’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Carl will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Christy and Hilda Christy (Shaw); and his brothers, Wilber Christy (Lee) and Charles Christy Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Donna Jo Bice (Christy); his stepson Charles Flickinger; his granddaughter Ashley Flickinger; and his siblings, Marion Christy of Florida, John Christy of Brady Lake, Pam Christy, Sandy Maurer of Ravenna and Judy Christy of Virginia. He is also survived by many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lake Hodgson (5331 Lakewood Rd, Ravenna, OH 44266).
