He was predeceased by: his parents, Halley Rivers and Opal Jones (Murphy); and his brother Herald Lee Jones. He is survived by: his wife Vicki S. Jones (Bachtell); and his sons, Michael Steven Jones (Nancy Ann) and David Lee Jones (Ahreiah Mahomes).

Calling hours will be 11:00 AM to 12 PM on Wednesday February 24, 2021 followed by PRIVATE family services at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel. (MASKS ARE REQUIRED AND SOCIAL DISTANCING PLEASE BE OBESERVED).
