He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Strawser and Lucille "Thelma" McGuines; his wife Linda Strawser (McCourt); and his siblings, Paula and Jerry.
He is survived by: his daughter Shirley Hinzman (Phil); his granddaughters, Amanda Holt (Josh Cody) and Amber Weaver (Matt); his sister Katie Dewey; his siblings-in-law, Vance McCourt (Chlorine), Wesley McCourt (Debbie), Goodrich McCourt, Jane McCourt and Nada Roosa; and his close friend Vicky. He is also survived by five great-grandsons.
