With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Irene Chappell (Ravenna, Ohio), born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on April 18, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Yaroslav Cernohorsky and Julia Cernohorsky (Wick); and her husband Richard George Chappell. She is survived by: her children, David Chappell, Dale Chappell (Debbie Shingledecker) and Cheryl Cowher (John); her grandchildren, Lauren, Cole and Jack; her sister Elizabeth "Betty Ann" Cernohorsky; and her cousin Robert Macy (Darlene). She is also survived by many loving extended family and friends.
