We are sad to announce that on April 2, 2022, at the age of 79, Leonard Edward Retherford Sr. of Ravenna, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Ernest H. Retherford; his siblings, Warner, Dick, Beverly and Dolores; and his parents-in-law, Vera Summers, Carl, Jr., Robert, Don Summers, Mike White, Wanda Reed and John Sullivan.
He is survived by: his significant other Patricia Marie Retherford (Summers); his sons, Lenny (Wendy), Steven (Chris) of Ravenna and Joe (Betsy) of Canton; his grandchildren, Lauren Billings (Sam), Elyse Retherford (Ryan McBride), Courtney Linscheid (Josh), Kirsten Paladino (Chris), Luke, Justin, Ethan, Caleb Retherford, John Cox, Marley, Ryder and Haidyn Ward; his great grandchildren, Anna Jaye, Barrett Linscheid and Kennedy Paladino; his sister Gloria Darst; and his parents-in-law, Ann Summers, Linda Summers, Barbara Miazga (Walt), Ida Summers, Nelva White, Pam Lee (Steve), Cheryl Creech (Rich), Debbie Maddern (Jim) and Mark Summers (Amy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
